Gusseted Envelope Vs. Conformer Envelope

Account: Oxford Health Plans

Challenge:  Replace a problematic, costly gusseted envelope custom designed to run on insertion equipment with a mailing solution that wouldn’t jam equipment and could handle contents of varying thickness. (i.e. doctor provider book for RI, ¼” thick vs. NJ, ¾” thick.

Solution: The 9 3/8″ x 12 5/8“ Conformer envelope with a max capacity of 1.25”, made of 32# white kraft was recommended to Oxford by Pitney Bowes because of its superior performance on standard PB insertion equipment. Conformer eliminated the inserter jamming problems and was less expensive.
